This is our third year staying there, and we really like the friendliness of the staff as well as the Breakfast buffett
Dirty, scruffy, in rough neighbourhood, ignorant staff.
I didnt not like that when I came back to my room I didnt have towels or new sheets I even put the maidservice note on the door and let then know that I needed towels and news sheets they greated me great but after I was there they were not nice when I called the front desk to ask for some towels they would tell me that the maids were gone and hung up on me!
The hotel is located about a mile from downtown Fort Worth, which is a very reasonable distance to drive, or even take public transportation, to events there. It is also much cheaper than the conventional hotels located downtown(Sheraton, Omni, etc.)
The facilities were nice enough for the price, though they could have been better. I know this wasn't the hotel's fault, but on the second night of my stay, there was at least one group of people near my room making a great deal of noise at 1:00 A.M. For the sake of reviewing the hotel, I probably should have reported this to the front desk, the gauged the staff's response. And two more minor details: if you drive anything other than a large SUV or truck, don't use the South entrance/exit, you'll most likely bottom out. Also the hotel doesn't feature ESPN, so if you're a sports fanatic you may want to consider another facility, but I felt this was cancelled out by the hotel featuring the full range of HBO channels.
Pool area nice and good view of fort worth. Internet use in reception area useful and local tourist information leaflets helpful.
The hotel was rather run down, dated decor and dirty public areas. Rooms tatty and dark.
The staff was wonderul. Very friendly and accommodating. I would stay again just because the staff was so good.
When we arrived we were given a room that was very outdated and in poor condition, plus there was a smell of mildew. We were going to leave, but thought we would ask if there was an updated room. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They moved us to an updated room immediately. The new room was much better, though the bathtub drained very slowly. Also the alarm clock was broken and did not get replaced or fixed. The pictures shown were somewhat misleading - the hotel is quite old and tattered.
the price was cheap and it was located next to the highway for easy of travel, i our case towards Dallas which was 40 mins away
this hotel is very very tired and needs updating form the 80's. altho we stayed in an suite room and was roomy, most of the fittings were many years old and in poor condition. the hotel pub was closed because it was sunday and we had to travel 3 mile for a bit to eat. spa was empty and closed, swimming pool needed cleaning!
We like the staff that was working they answered all our questions and were very friendly we look forward to staying here again. Our suite was the perfect size with 2 bathrooms which we loved. Food was good. We also like that the hotel was about 5 minutes from the convention center.
dirty and old with a dingy smell.
The guys of the hotel didnt clean the room for the second day
I hated this hotel. We found a half-full beer can in our room and an open bar of soap with pubic hair in the shower. I admit I was upset after a 14 hour drive and when I went to register my complaint I called the beer can a ***d*** beer can. Right then Ron threatened to kick me out if I cussed any more. The ensuing discussion and his contemptuous treatment of me was something I have never experienced in 40 years of world travel. He insulted the state where I lived among other things. The girl receptionist talked to me privately and we agreed to change rooms for a night. The room was only slightly better but as we were only there 3 days we decided to make due. I did apologies for my behavior the next morning-there was no excuse for my cussing but I then had to call and get more towels and ask to have my room vacuumed. Pet friendly- sorta, hot breakfast was adequate, location right next to busy, noisy beach street but easily accessible from the freeway. Definitely a tw0ostar or less by my standard!
Old, dirty, tacky, small rooms, rude staff
The staff were nice, the Location seems to have issues. There was loud arguments on the street outside our window. The price I received on booking was greater than the managers special I could have gotten if I just showed up. The hotel is convienent to I-30 and downtown ft worth. I will pay a little more and get a better hotel next time.
Darrin (sp) and Christina were amazing. They were the very friendly and fun to deal with. They made the stay a good one. Kuddos to both of them for great personalities!!!!!!!!
Lovely spacious rooms, great breakfast, great value and lovely staff
